This crocheted colour-changing lacy poncho in the popular virus design will be crocheted by me in the colour of your choice.
***The version pictured is size standard - the XL size is about 10cm (4 inches) longer from neck to point***
It can be worn with the longer, pointed edges either front and back, or over the arms (giving a straight edge front and back).
Approximate size XL (see below regarding colour options):
neck to point: about 85cm (2ft, 9.5in)
neck to straight edge: about 61cm (2ft)
neck circumference: about 79cm (2ft, 7in)
Approximate size Standard:
neck to point: about 75cm (2ft, 5.5in)
neck to straight edge: about 54cm (1ft, 9in)
neck circumference: about 79cm (2ft, 7in)
There are many wonderful colours to choose from - see pics 2 and 3 - please make your choice from the first drop-down list.
The two yarns are very similar in look and feel - wonderfully soft gradient (softly colour-changing) with a soft, sleek drape, but the fiber content is a bit different. The yarn in pic 2 is 55% cotton / 45% acrylic and the yarn in pic 3 is 100% cotton.
I can start from the centre or outside of your chosen yarn "cake" - the starting shade appears at the top of the poncho and the last shade appears along the bottom. Please make your selection using the second drop-down list.
**XL Colour Options**:
Most of the yarn cakes in pic 2 have matching smaller cakes in one colour - a match to the central shade, the outer shade, or both.
As there is a limit to the number of options that can be listed. If you choose an XL poncho in one of the cakes with add-ons for the shades in both the centre (IN) and outside (OUT), I will assume you want to extend the shade along the bottom (the end) of the poncho, based on whether you choose start from the centre or outside of the cake.
For example, if you choose "XL p2 02 IN or OUT" (Twisty Greys) and "Start from Centre", I will use black to add about two pattern repeats at the bottom of the poncho - black being the end/bottom shade. You can of course choose to add the XL increase to the starting/top shade of your poncho, but please bear in mind that this will result in many more rows of this extra yarn, as the yarn lasts for many more rows at the narrower top of the poncho than at the wider bottom. Just let me know if this is what you would like me to do.
If this is confusing or unclear - please feel free to message me and I will be happy to help.
Hand wash, max 40°C / Dry flat. Do not wash with other items, as colours may bleed.
